If your are looking for a less expensive camcorder that aloof offers some fun features, than the TRV-37 is the blueprint to go...it's not Hi8 or digital...but it has a color LCD, offers some nice title and editing features, has the night vision option and is very comfortable to contain.

I tried to be realistic when making this consume. Am I going to edit these tapes, do I need the stabilizer, do I want an LCD, what about the tape quality, how great do I want to expend? ...in the extinguish the TRV-37 was the best option for me...now that I have venerable it several times I am absolutely certain I made the apt decision!

When I first started looking for a camcorder all I knew is I didn't want to exercise the money on a digital one because the characterize isn't as distinct as even a 8mm camcorder relative to note...Because it's digital you secure hazy or pixeled pictures on indecent extinguish digital camcorders. When I finally went to purcahse a camcorder, it came between sony and canon. Canon had 2x more optical zoom and 300x more digital zoom, but the Sony had better portray and the camera unprejudiced sat better in my hand. The buttons were placed in more manageable spots, except for the light switch. Anyhow, the report on this camera is crystal distinct, even when I consume lower quality 8mm tapes. The only additional feature I would've liked it to have is a stablilizer... All in all it's a tremendous camera that has the most famous feature of all, Immense Record!

This is a sizable camera for the ticket. It has many useful functions that expend to cost quite a bit more. The only pickle I have with it is that you have to charge the battery on the camera itself. I'm distinct this was fair a scheme for Sony to sever their cost, and collect people to pick more charger accessories. This kind of annoyed me when I opened the box, but the rest of the camera is huge.
