I purchased one of these and have been using it for a microscopic over a month. At this point I am totally thrilled with the product for the notice. I have owned exectrolux products in the past that were more expensive and a hoover product for about the same brand. To say the least I am help to electrolux. I fancy being able to go under furniture, and being able to disconnect head and utilize in tight or original spots with various attachments. We have a dog and this is a unbelievable fur finder! The filtration systems are large for keeping dust and dirt where it belongs once it is sucked up. I'll never stray from electrolux again.

EL7020A is the highest rated canister by Consumer Reports in 2006 - this is why I chose it. I had this vacuum for almost a month now, and I really like its performance. I like that the wand with the power brush fits under the bed where my good did not fit. I like that this vacuum has HEPA filtration and I do not sneeze when vacuuming anymore.

The vacuum has great suction and nice features like "auto power-brush off when something gets stuck in it" and "auto suction reduction when something stops the airflow, so you can pull it out". E.g., if a corner of a bathroom rug gets sucked in, the vacuum reduces suction power and you can pull the rug out, and the suction increases automatically.

The bags are very diminutive (mine filled up with carpet fibers after vacuuming the house 2 times) . I did not mind, all that means is that I don't retain all that dirt inside my vacuum in my home and throw it away more often. Like one other user said, the "change bag" light did not near on when the bag filled up. I found that the bag was plump thanks to my curiosity. I suspect that the "change bag" light performance depends on what the bag fills up with - if it fills up with carpet fibers, which unruffled allow sufficient airflow, the light won't near on.

Another curious thing I found was that the box says "Model EL7020A", but the bottom of the canister has a sticker that says "Model 7001". I contacted Electrolux about the discrepancy, and, according to their Customer Service Fetch, the model EL7020A is a combination of the 7001 canister and a power carpet brush (plus a bunch of other add-on tools) .

After having my last two vacuums die unceremonious deaths, I decided to do a miniature more research in buying a vacuum than usual. I checked consumer, and epinions for reports on the latest canister vacuums. I tried out my neighbors vacuums to explore if they met my needs, and ultimately decided on the Electrolux Oxygen Ultra.

I am not sorry! This vacuum is fabulous. The bare floor attachment in larger than most making the task of vacuuming easier. However, it unexcited manages to fit into all of my smaller areas (between toilet and tub) . It is also more narrow than most I have tried. Because of this, I was able to vacuum in between my banister poles, leaving me one less job to do.

This attachment, along with the telescoping pole, did a terrific job getting under my couches, beds, and dressers, with the exception of one of my daughter's rooms where there isn't worthy clearance. Furthermore, I decided to give it a go on my blinds. It did a terrific job removing the dust from the 2 1/2 slats.

I then switched out for the motorized head and was very impressed with the power it had for carpeting. I actually found myself being pulled along by it. I former on my berber, and state rugs. It did a titanic job cleaning them both. Fantastically, the power head plugs proper into the handle to manufacture cleaning my stairs a stir. It took a diminutive getting frail to, but I believe it did a better job than my last vacuum with a special stairs attachment.

The canister itself is better than others I have worked with. It moved effortlessly. I did not win it was crashing into walls or getting caught up on furniture. It was extremely calm as well. I found the cord length to be sufficient (I have quite a enormous house and didn't have change outlets anymore often than with other vacuums) and the extra length on the hose made cleaning higher items easier.

I like the controls on the handle as well. The buttons controlling the power, type of vacuuming and on/off switch were easy to exercise.

I had no problems with changing out the heads. However, I have not been able to work the place saving storage option of hooking the head onto the canister body. This is not such an impart as I have the dwelling to store it without utilizing this feature.

Bottom line: This is a immense machine. I recommend spending the money, and getting a machine that will do a immense job and last.

I bought this to replace a Kitchen Befriend.
The Kitchen Benefit uses a coupler on top of the motor which spins the blade that's made out of rubber over metal which will wreck if you construct lots of frozen fruit drinks. That's what I had happen.
The Waring uses the same type of do, but the incompatibility is that you can steal a replacement ($5.95) and do it on yourself with a wrench If it were to ever arrive apart. The Kitchen Back has to be serviced, capture apart the motor to rep to it from the inside etc.

This Waring Blender is very mighty! It's loud and spins very hastily. Which makes it blend in a portion of the time of others. It makes my dilapidated Kitchen-Aid seem like a childs toy in comparison.

It's remarkable more obviously commercial through heft, simplicity of get and function and servicability.

It has only 2 speeds. Professional chefs say that's all you need. it has a simple toggle switch, no multiple run electronic gimmics. Unprejudiced very functional.

I originally really wanted a glass container. It provided some heft to my musty Kitchen-Aid and I notion that it was a brand of higher quality.
For a commercial application you would remove the unbreakable quality of the polycarbon plastic as well as the lack of weight. It's light as a feather.

I was also concerned that the blade being permenantly mounted inside the container would be hard to tidy. (actually you can choose it apart with a deep socket and extension, not for cleaning but blade replacement) . My Kitchen Aids came apart for cleaning and I could set it in the dishwasher. I salvage the cleaning instruction are easy with the Waring, actually simple to shapely you should objective do it correct away once your done mixing. Less time to spruce and assemble.

What I behold now with comparing this to the kitchen-Aid besides what I've already mentioned, is that the Kitchen-Aid looks simple through it's visual originate. It's over designed through what appear to be considerable features which only compose it more complicated. You have to do more work from cleaning, assembling and servicing.
The Waring on the other hand is bare bones functional. It was designed to blend and be easily serviced and fleet cleaned.

Over the past 3 years, we have owned a 'commercial quality' KitchenAid with a stainless steel pitcher and a high waste Oster unit.

Neither blended milk, frozen fruit, soy powder, and cottage cheese properly. The Kitchen Back always left a blob of non-blended material plus chunks of fruit in the bottom.

We purchased the Waring Mega-Mix 5 months ago after reading the reviews on Amazon.com. We consume it at least once daily.

Pluses:

1. Blends frozen or original fruit amazingly rapidly and completely.

2. Mixes powders, fluids, and solids completely and efficiently.

3. Incredibly grand motor

4. Polycarbonade pitcher is light weight and seems very strong.

5. High quality construction and commercial gaze to it.

Minuses:

1. Initially offered us a 'burnt' odor for the first 3 weeks of spend (Amazon reviews warned of this)

2. Very noisy! I have adopted a one hand over one ear and the opposite shoulder plastered against the other ear stance while keeping the other hand on the lid.

3. Does not crush ice for drinks as well as other reviewers indicated.

Overview: Not perfect, but far better than anything else that we have conventional!

Several facts:

- 1 HP motor (on outrageous setting this thing will crush rocks)
- All parts are serviceable / replaceable (fair like any pleasant industrial section of equipment)
- Will pulverize ice drinks (margaritas) in about three seconds
- Made in USA!

I got lucky and found as an out-of-box special at my local Fry's electronics store for $99.90 - stole it. This is last blender I will fill in my lifetime, what is that worth?

Yes you could employ less, and win an average household blender. But how often can you afford the best? Can you afford the best car in world, the best house???

This is a dazzling machine. Check it out -- 4.2 lbs, 1" thick, Magnesium case, 7200 rpm HDD, spectacular HD exhibit, 4 GB memory, 320 GB Hard Drive, Iconic keyboard Windows 7, 4 USB ports, HDMI port, large WiFi,etc. etc. All for under $600! It's fantastic. One begins to wonder what truck they catch these off of. Yes, my title is accurate, "Macbook Killer." Watch at the two machines side by side -- they are fair remarkable the same thing. Yes, the Macbook Pro has a backlit keyboard, ok. But the DM3 has an HDMI port, which means I can effect it to my HDTV and play Neflix or Itunes movies, or youtube, etc. in High Definition. Positive, it has no optical drive, but folks, cd's and dvd's are becoming faded technology, and being replaced by thumb/jump drives. Even software will be coming on these. Actually, the DM3 weighs almsot a pound less than a Macbook by eliminating the optical drive, and the advantages of using an external drive are many. Keyboards are almost identical, case is a toss up, display's are similar, windows 7 vs. Snow Leopard has its plusses and minuses going both ways. Yes, the Macbook is more much for high intensity graphics, but if you are using your computer as most people do, you will not peer the disagreement. But the knockout comes at checkout: It is less than 1/2 the stamp of a similarly configured 13" Macbook Pro!

It is so far satisfactory to any netbook that there is no comparison there. Yes, it's not perfect. It does re-charge slowly, and the trackpad takes some getting old to. But it has so many incredible features, when you factor in the trace, it is the best value out there in ultraportable computing.

I have been using portable computers since the mid-eighties when they were 25 pounds with miniature monochrome screens floppy drives and cost $3000. Now for under $600, they are 1/6th the weight, yet 100 times as rapid with 3000 times the storage and grand more functionality. Mediate about how fabulous this is! You will appreciate this limited machine.

I have had this since the day that it launched and am quite gay with it. I have the Dm3z with the AMD processor and for the heed it is very estimable. I have been happily surprised with the battery life. I have not timed it yet but the battery stays up for hours. Something that may be a negative for some people is that the battery trickle charges when plugged in. It takes forever to fully charge but for me this hasn't caused any problems. I have been taking the battery out of the laptop when it is fully charged and objective running it on AC. This works well and the battery can be removed easily while the laptop is plugged in without powering down. The 13.3 stride conceal is honest about perfect. It is puny enough to carry but stout enough to employ for honest about everything. Plenty of power for day to day computing and for me this includes hulu and divx. I have not tried hooking the laptop up to a television yet so I don't know how fleshy shroud HD will play relieve but divx or flash video window while web browsing on the other half of the conceal works flawlessly. As has been famous elsewhere the touch pad is not the greatest. It is usable but would have been better if the texture of the touch pad itself were different. There are also some driver issues with the multi touch that causes the touch pad to not retort sometimes when coming out of hibernation. Overall I am very pleased with the laptop and recommend it to anyone looking for a light portable to do day to day computing.

Follow up to the touch pad whisper when coming out of hibernation. HP seems to have fixed this with an update since it has not happened in a couple of days.

An absolutely big product with an incredibly convenient build factor! Forget the Intel version; the AMD version comes with ATI discrete graphics and performs noteworthy better and costs $[...] less. The heck with Intel!!!

The Acer 1410 with Intel dual-core SU2300 and Windows 7 is a useful, general purpose mini-notebook. It is shrimp and light enough to be carried around all the time, yet stout and quickly enough to do most ordinary work. Word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and Web browsing are all responsive, although there have been reports of some performance limits showing HD video. These units are being delivered with 64-bit Windows and 2GB of memory. For about US$80 one can install 2x2GB of PC2-6400 memory, reselling the delivered 2x1GB of PC2-5300 memory if that proves possible. Race becomes faster and battery life longer when using the Windows Classic theme and setting "Adjust for best performance" in Control Panel, System, Advanced system settings, under Advanced and Performance. Even with maximum power utilize the unit remains cold, with only small warming approach left-side ventilation exhausts.

The prove provides about 135 color pixels per budge, while the human glimpse is generous of resolving only about 70-90 per shuffle. Small-size text will be unreadable without a magnifier. However, all commonly traditional Windows displays are readable, unaided, for a person with normal to somewhat near-sighted vision. Reveal software provides an option to boost text dimensions 25 percent at the expense of reducing mumble of application windows. A 50 percent brightness setting is adequate for indoor utilize and extends battery life. Even 100 percent brightness cannot overcome reflections from the glossy cloak for outdoor exhaust. Visibility angles are small to around 30 degrees in practice, slightly more from above, and color recede begins at about 15 degrees.

The keyboard compose provides bulky US spacing of 9 inches across a row of 12 keys. Tactile feedback is adequate for quickly touch-typing. The touchpad is adequate, but its many options may confuse unique users. It is best to launch by visiting Control Panel, Mouse, Contrivance Settings, Settings, and disabling all options except Buttons, setting the PalmCheck and Touch Sensitivity options to the second lightest. Later the span of options can be adjusted as familiarity with the unit grows. The touchpad software is unresponsive. Even with options disabled, the pointer movement on the expose is genuine to surge and freeze. Acer's case originate worsens those problems by providing abominable tactile feedback for touchpad boundaries.

The WiFi interface performs creditably and connects fleet. WiFi can be disabled by a switch under the front edge to set power when it is not needed. There is also a Bluetooth switch, but the 1410 does not arrive with Bluetooth. The audio is adequate for typical office consume, where most Windows sounds are usually disabled. Battery life in normal exercise is likely to be around 5 hours. The power adapter delivered provides only 30 watts, maybe because of safety issues and recalls Acer has experienced. Battery recharge time with the computer off is around 2-1/2 hours and twice that with the computer on. Windows 7 performs without the reliability problems and the annoyances of Windows Vista. There are minor functional improvements over Windows XP, nothing that adds remarkable productivity for office consume. Utilities like Notepad and Calculator have not changed function since Windows 95.

The 1410's rich cousin, the 1810, is expected to be available in quantity by mid-November, 2009. Its SU7300 processor will be about 20 percent faster, and it will be delivered with 4GB memory and a bigger disk. For most office uses there will be no added aid to elaborate a 50 percent higher stamp. Some customers may be attracted by around a 25 percent increase in battery capacity. Overall the Acer 1410 is a grand candidate for performing typical office work in a mobile setting, but no portable computer delivers the productivity of a rapidly desktop computer with a huge expose, mouse and freestanding keyboard.

Some reservations: Acer's documentation is unsatisfactory, only available on delivered machines, not on the Web. It consists of a "mercurial guide" to a category of machines, in this case both 1410 and 1810 models, equivalent to five typewritten pages, and a "generic guide" to the Aspire family, mainly on proprietary software, written in a CYA style and in a British dialect of English. As an example of the low-grade advice, it recommends carrying a spare battery but nowhere specifies appropriate batteries, or for that matter, specifies any other replacement parts or product options. In the case of the 1410, this can be disastrous, because the same 1410 model number was feeble by Acer for an earlier portable computer, which requires different batteries. The battery is Acer allotment number UM09E31, but as of October, 2009, there was no source for that battery. Acer's warranty requires a lawyer to decipher, saying to contact a "Call Center" but providing no telephone number.

I agree with the previous reviewer: I chose this model with the SU2300 because of the additional performance associated with the dual core CPU. Since I mediate anything less than 13" a netbook (such as this) I had no need for a 250GB hard drive the other model came with. The version I am reviewing is Dim in color.

The Pros of this model:

-Windows 7 Home Premium runs, in my conception, faster than XP would. Improbable!

-AERO runs great

-The chunky graphics card and HDMI-out works mammoth for watching HD movies on HULU or Youtube and putting them on a gigantic camouflage TV with HDMI

-2GB RAM!

-Decent webcam

-Draft N wireless

-Nice sized and sturdy keyboard

-Lightweight and the size of an 8x11 section of paper (thicker of course)

-The battery does not stick out the encourage like other netbooks

The Cons:

-Speakers didn't sound loud enough when sitting on my lap, but headphones do the trick

-Touchpad is a limited square, I wish it was a bigger rectangle

-No bluetooth yet the button to turn it on and off is calm there, kind of odd

-Glossy shell leaves finger prints

-Acer Pre-installed Bloatware (games, norton backup, google toolbar, MacAfee trial, etc)

-NO Windows OEM DISK! This drives me nuts if you ever need to reinstall but I believe Acer has some backup partition (Alt+F10 or something at begin up)

In all, this computer is blazing fleet, has Windows home premium, tall for school, or work. I have not tested the battery life yet, but I consume it goes for about 4 or 5 hours of regular expend since it is 6-cell.

Ignoring colors, Acer now has two different AS1410 Windows 7 laptops at the same $400 imprint point: Dual Core SU2300 with 160GB hard drive and a Single Core Celeron 743 with a 250GB hard drive. I chose this model with the SU2300 because of the additional performance associated with the dual core CPU.

Pros: 3.1 lbs, compact size, 6 hour battery, SU2300 performance, keyboard, 1366x768 LED-backed exhibit, Intel GMA4500MHD graphics, 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI, webcam

Cons:

- Touchpad buttons too stiff, also, left button does not always register a click

- Glossy top screen attracts fingerprints

- No dedicated volume control (have to expend arrow keys)

- Glossy cover shows reflections (I would select a matte conceal)

- No bluetooth

- No esata

- 2 GB of memory comes as 2x1GB SODIMMs so if you want to upgrade to 4GB, you have to chuck the existing memory. Heed that specs on Acer's website incorrectly point to that the 2GB comes in a single SODIMM leaving a slot empty for upgrading.

In summary, the AS1410 could be better but for $400, it is a splendid apt ultra portable laptop value. Amazon did a righteous job of packing it and shipping it rapidly. Recommended.

Works lovely. Starts reasonably easily, usually with 4 pulls. However, noisier than expected. Relatively small vibration.

This machine is yet another favorable example of high quality Hitachi engineering. This compressor has outlasted several other brands. The machine has speed two finishing guns continuously for almost a year and hasn't needed anything more than an oil change The regulator is predictable, and adjusts as easily as other brands. I firmly occupy that Hitachi gets 4.1 CFM out of 14.5 amps. We simply do not bustle out of air no matter how snappy we are working with the Senco SFN40's. Down time has been zilch. One thing we did add was a water/oil separator and filter to protect our work and our guns. I stammer Hitachi (and most other brands) leaves these off so that they will have a competitive effect. But it does not construct economical sense for YOU to leave them off.

While I have given this compressor a 5 star rating, there are some things for the engineers (and you!) to contemplate about in the next model: 1. The contrivance the regulator is mounted it is difficult to perform a manifold for two hoses without hanging those pipes out there where they can glean knocked off. Anyone who has knocked one off before will know that A) everyone in the neighborhood knows it upright away and B) it puts you down for some expensive time. And C) when this happens, it often creates an unwanted projectile. It took me three street elbows and an hour of figuring to procure the fast disconnects in a gracious set. 2. When you lift the unit up with the handle, the unit tilts a bit. This means you have to gain it out away from your body a bit more than the size of the compressor would promise. All that horsepower weighs enough to gain this more discouraged than need be. We unbiased zigzag the handle with a torch to net on the center of gravity.

These are relatively dinky gigs on a really large compressor. I only spent so many words on them so that the engineers might unprejudiced read this. It seems they will have plenty of time to true this before the ones I enjoy wear.

The hitachi 2 horse protable compressor is light enough tocarry around the jobsite but heavy enough so it won't tumble out theback of the truck. It delivers plenty of air for nailers air wrenchs and filling tires. I wouldn't spend it for painting but it was about the same brand as the Coleman compressors.

I chose the Hitachi three years ago because it has a resplendent compressor and motor, solid construction, and overall sterling manufacture. It has been entirely good and three years later I detached am using it both in my cabinet shop and on the job for residential remodeling. The only distinguished do flaw is the status of the gauges. They are subject to being knocked off. I found this out the hard procedure one day when I had to slam on the brakes in my van and a sliding tool box sheared one of them off. Despite this one flaw I would unruffled by another Hitachi in a heart beat. The Hitachi is not only genuine, but, unlike many compressors, it truly works on 15 amps. This compressor has never blown a fuse on me, which is something of a miracle considering the wiring in many of the older homes I remodel.

Probably the finest spot of Asian style knives I've ever owned, out of the box they are razor spirited, fit and fisnish is helpful.

They sit easy in the hand and balance well and will be an asset to my kitchen...Well worth the $379 for the station, I have several WÜSTHOF and Henckels knives and they are gargantuan but these are better.

The 1.4X II teleconverter is a modest update to Canon's earlier 1.4X TC. The sign II allows this extender to be stacked with another of Canon's extenders (either another 1.4X II or the 2X II) without having to separate the two with an extension tube (although the loss of sharpness from stacking extenders may not be acceptable to you) . Otherwise, the quality of the newer 1.4X II is supposed to be very similar to the older model, which I've never owned.

The 1.4X II is a spacious contrivance to extend the advance of compatible lenses. Mark that not every Canon lens is compatible with this extender. The following is from Canon's Web site: "This tele extender can be worn with fixed focal length lenses 135mm and longer (except the 135mm f/2.8 Softfocus lens), and the EF 70-200 f/2.8L, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 70-200 f/4.0L, and 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS zoom lenses."

I exhaust it frequently with my Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS, which turns it into a 98-280mm zoom. The extra approach it adds is not spacious, but it's very welcome when I unprejudiced need a runt more than what the lens alone can give me.

I've found no appreciable loss in sharpness from using the 1.4X. Of course, any extender is going to slit sharpness to some degree, but with normal examination, I can't distinguish photos taken with the 70-200mm that spend the 1.4X from those that don't. The fact that the 70-200mm f/2.8L is a very intriguing lens to open with helps in this department.

Using the 1.4X decreases your lens' widest aperture 'capability' by one end. With some lenses, that can be more vital than it appears on the surface; when using a non-pro Canon body (such as my 20D) the lens must have a minimum wide-open aperture 'capability' of f/5.6 for autofocus to work. The lens doesn't have to be state at f/5.6, it unprejudiced has to be 'capable' of at least f/5.6 after adjusting for the one conclude loss from the 1.4X. That means with some camera/lens combinations, adding the 1.4X will force you to focus all of your shots manually. (Note: There is a known 'fix' for this that restores autofocus. I've never needed to try it, but it involves taping over some connector pins on the 1.4X to fool the camera body. Recede with caution if you try this, and do a Google search to learn how to do it apt before attempting it.)

The 1.4X also reduces focus hasten very slightly. I've only old-fashioned it on my 70-200mm IS, which has Canon's USM and is a fast-focusing lens to open with, but the decrease in hurry is so petite I really don't peep it. And it does not affect IS (Image Stabilization) at all.

The 1.4X is built to the quality of Canon's L-series lenses, which means that it is weather sealed and will sustain a Canon pro body and L-series lens weather sealed when old with them.

If you're considering this extender, you're probably also considering Canon's 2X II teleconverter. I do not occupy the 2X but did a lot of research on it before ultimately deciding to go with the 1.4X. The 2X decreases your aperture by two stops, and is reported to have a noticable decrease in sharpness--more than some photographers are willing to live with. On the other hand, I've never read a review that complained about the loss of sharpness from the 1.4X.

If you've already invested a lot of money in telephoto lenses, the 1.4X II is a relatively inexpensive design to fetch even more arrive (and value) out of your investment while adding only a modest amount of bulk to your camera bag. Highly recommended.

I have both the 1.4x and 2x teleconverters from Canon. Neither, despite what people say, produces an image that impartial as intriguing as the fresh lens. But images through the 2x are noticably awful from even a casual inspection while images through the 1.4x absorb up very well. Carefully controlled test shots are the easiest plan to really study the problems in this converter. But for the most allotment the 1.4x won't be a liability in sharpness.

The 1.4x loses one terminate of light. So while this does work on a 100mm-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS L lens, I wouldn't reccommend it. Effect this for the 200mm f/2.8 L, and the 300mm f/2.8 IS L, and any bigger primes you have.

I have aged the 1.4x II extender for over a year. It gives me astounding detail with my 70-200L f/4 lens on a 20D. I expend it mostly for wildlife and butterflies. Dissimilarity is well-behaved with colors that pop. When shooting on a sunny day the shutter speeds are peaceful expeditiously with the f/5.6 and the background is blurred beautifully. In shade areas and vulgar light a tripod is a must! There hasn't been any sacrifice in subject detail. I can ogle individual hairs on butterfly bodies even when shooting wide begin. This is a sizable blueprint to come by closer without paying a distinguished amount for a supertelephoto lens.

From a interface and asthetic point of concept, the machine is flawless. It's comely and solid, and has many nice touches like an integral storage bin and swiveling steam wand. Having said that, it's missing a few things on the INSIDE that you'd interrogate from a $400 machine:

For one, it uses a thermoblock. This results in a pressure descend and uneven heating compared to a boiler, which is why there is the need for the double-wall crema system. (I'm referring here to pump machines with boilers, not the cheap steam machines.) This is why you'll catch that after brewing you have a soupy sludge instead of the hard dry puck considered an indicator of excellent espresso brewing.

Second, the filters and group head aren't made of brass (which is more temperature stable) like you'll view in machines of similar impress.

Personally, I'm not certain I have a sophisticated enough palette to discern a dissimilarity between espresso from this and a machine with better parts. But given that you're considering spending $400 on an espresso machine, I occupy you might be a purist and somebody who cares about getting the best for your money. I also feel the need to offset some of the other breathless reviews by people who clearly haven't bothered to do even a minimal amount of research on espresso machines.

Despite the above, the machine produces very generous espresso, as far as I can teach, and it IS magnificent. My guess is that it overcomes some of its component shortcomings with nice engineering (such as the auto-purge feature to avoid scalding the grounds) . However, you have to wonder if you're really getting your money's worth where it counts, when there are machines out there at half the heed with better internal components and plumbing. You should be able to get machines with more stable temperature and higher effective pressure for great less money if you're willing to go for substance over looks.

The Breville 800 ESXL is turning out to be one of the best buys I have ever madeBreville 800ESXL Commercial 15-Bar Triple-Priming Die-Cast Espresso Machine.

I had a Gaggia that produced mountainous espresso when I first got it, but recently, it stopped creating any crema whatsoever. Water leaked from the steamer wand and the expresso head. It was time for a replacement.

I studied and studied and studied all the expresso makers and I knew I did not want to employ over $500 for a great pot. My goal was to score a big pot for under that amount. I read every review there is on the internet concerning the Breville 800 ESXL. People worship it or despise it but if you read carefully, you may collect as I did, that many of those who abominate it, did not follow the directions as prescribed by Breville. They treated it like their musty pot, however, the Breville 800 is a astonishing pot if veteran according to the instructions place out by Breville. And dare I say, that some of the others who did not like the pot sounded like coffee snobs who want perfection and had no correct buying this machine and judging by standards that only a mighty more expensive machine could match.

If you want a truly outstanding expresso or cappuccino, the Breville 800 will do it for you, as long as you live up to your section of the bargain. The first thing you need are really valid beans and novel filtered water. Next is to really learn how to produce expresso. You need to get the proper grind and then stick with it. I have a Capresso Burr Grinder that works broad for only $85. You need to learn the honest amount of pressure to tamp the coffee (also, it does not injure engage a wonderful metal tamp- the one they give you is only okay) . You should accumulate a thermometer to manufacture definite your frothed milk is between 140 - 160 degrees and then learn how to froth milk. The cups should be warm and you will have some huge coffee.

you may not obtain mountainous coffee the first time out--- and maybe not the second, but the more you do it, critique what you did, and manufacture adjustments, you will earn that the contrast between and top-notch cup and a pleasant cup has more to do with you than the machine. This is a hands-on machine (which I adore about it) . Like a cook using novel ingredients, the results often lie in the art of the cook. It is the same with this machine. If you impartial want to turn it on and win a tall cup of espresso, it may happen sometimes, but not always. It is up to you to develop your shot the best. There is a learning curve to be distinct, but the slay result is astonishing - and for a ample ticket. I was making gargantuan shot after enormous shot in about three days.

I was terrified to death about my filters clogging as others have said, but I have found that the best thing you can do is to well-organized after every shot. it is not a titanic job to wipe down the nozzle, rinse out the pots and filters, and consume the small tool they give you to support the filters inaugurate and breeze the hole once to maintain it launch for the next time. Takes all of a minute- maybe less. The result, gigantic expresso, perfect crema, mountainous frothed milk (once you fetch the knack of rothing), and a attractive, sturdy machine that should last a long time with the kind of care I ask you to give it.

Some have complained about the temperature of the coffee. I too view it was not hot enough the first few times I made the espresso, and then I read the manual. When you do what the manual says, the coffee is plenty hot --too hot actually. As for the time it takes to steam the milk, no longer than my Gaggia with a lot less mess. And about the "sloppy mess in the portafilter" and no dry puck ---- well, I would like a dry puck too, but the paper from Breville in the box tells you that the technology they exhaust to acquire the coffee hot and with perfect crema will not give you the former dry puck. Seek Information From it to be watery in the portafilter. impartial rinse it out when done and you are in business. I catch that and as a result I regain mountainous coffee. My machine is not a Rencilio, nor a Gaggia. It is a Breville and it does not have the dry puck--- but it does have substantial espresso that can be made within a miniature or two of turning on the machine. And smart up takes less time than it did to heat up (under a petite) .

It has a huge well for water which is easy to possess, from the front and the wait on. it is very very easy to orderly. It is sturdy and it looks sizable. There are so many frosty things built in --- obviously understanding went into the make. Some complain about it being loud. I have never met an espresso maker that is not loud. Oh yes, I saw one once but that machine cost $2,000 and was fully automatic. There was no joy in making an expresso with that---- no art to it. The machine does it all.

Now, for the weaknesses. I already told you to bag another tamp. The one they give is not the greatest. Also, it has the very chilly feature where it purges itself after each shot or steaming allowing the built up steam to breeze to the overflow reservoir. (Actually this is a sure feature) but on the negative side it uses more water, but no astronomical deal unless you are paying for bottled water. With my Gaggia, I was always stunned it was going to blow up on me. This steam pressure release is very frigid and well view out.

Needless to say, I am very elated with this machine. As you may be able to seek, I am the kind of person who looks at what I have done and tries to perform the next one better. For me, this machine does not disappoint.

Hopefully, this review has helped.

This machine is indeed exquisite, and I secure the espresso very righteous indeed. The scrape is that if your coffee is ground too blooming, even once, the filter clogs. Due to the manufacture of the crema filter, there is an inaccessible "interior" between the coffee-side filter holes and the bottom-side single exit hole. If this gets too clogged, there is really nothing to do except come by a unusual filter, as the clog is not reachable with any tool.

This wouldn't be too poor if you could actually Salvage filter baskets when you need them. The only online company that carried them seems to be out of business now. And without a filter basket, this is impartial so mighty attractive scupture.

UPDATE: You can procure the filters from Breville USA, for a brand. You can also employ a backflush detergent (like JoeGlo) to definite them, although it's a bit time-consuming and messy.
